WHAT IS HIGH SCHOOL TUTORING?
Hey friends, welcome to the TAMS High School Tutoring Committee!
HST is a HOPExTAS committee focused on helping local Denton high school students with STEM-related curriculum. TAMS volunteers will each be paired with a student from one of these high schools and will work with them on whatever academic help they need. If you enjoy teaching or want to try out the experience, High School Tutoring is the committee for you!
High School Tutoring is a semester-long commitment, so look out for signups at the beginning of the year!

MEET THE HEADS
Hey friends! I’m Mihir and I am your other HST head this year! You can usually find me in the computer lab or Mac working, at Sycamore when I am trying to be productive, or at Union when I want a quick bite or some live music :)) Feel free to send me a message on Facebook if you have any questions about HST!
Hey guys! I’m Shakthi and I’ll be one of your High School Tutoring heads this year. I’m from Coppell, which is a decently sized suburb in the DFW area, and I attended Coppell High School. In my free time, I like to work on my computer science research, play League of Legends (I’m always down for a duo queue!) and hang out in Mac. I also enjoy going to the gym and playing frisbee, but I’m quite inconsistent with both. If you want to get easy wins on League with me or throw a frisbee around, I’m always around to hang out. If you have any questions or want some help, hit me up (I don’t bite I promise).
