Service Showcase
Service Showcase is one of the first big events of the fall semester at TAMS, where incoming juniors get to explore all of HOPE’s 17 service committees in one lively, interactive space. Each committee sets up a colorful booth with a trifold, sign-up sheets, and friendly upperclassmen ready to answer questions and share what they do. Whether it’s English tutoring, visiting nursing homes, working with horses, serving as mock trial attorneys, gardening, or creating art for the community, there’s something for everyone.
The event takes place in the gym and feels like a mini fair full of energy and excitement. Students walk from booth to booth, ask questions, and learn how they can get involved. One of the most memorable parts of the day is the HOPE handprint wall, where juniors can stamp their painted handprints and sign their names to show their commitment to service and leave their mark as part of the HOPE family.
Service Showcase is a welcoming introduction to HOPE and a chance for students to find committees that match their interests and passions. Whether you’re looking to gain volunteer hours, make new friends, or just explore what’s out there, Service Showcase is the perfect place to start.
