Blood Drives

Blood Drives are one of HOPE’s most impactful and long-standing traditions, held four times a year in partnership with Carter BloodCare. Taking place once every three months, these events are hosted on campus and invite TAMS students, UNT students, faculty, and staff to donate blood and help save lives. Each drive typically collects between 250 to 350 units of blood, which has the potential to save 750 to 850 lives. The drives are one of the most accessible and high-impact ways for students to serve, with donations going directly toward supporting hospitals and patients across Texas.

The process is quick, safe, and completely free for all eligible donors. HOPE and Carter BloodCare create a welcoming and supportive environment with food, drinks, snacks, and rest areas available to all participants. Donors often walk away with free t-shirts, blankets, or other thank-you items as a token of appreciation. Whether you're a first-time donor or a returning supporter, HOPE blood drives offer an easy and powerful way to make a difference in someone’s life—all without ever leaving campus.
