WHAT IS THE LIBRARY COMMITTEE?
The overarching goal of our committee is to break down barriers in education and to provide all students with equal opportunities. Our main volunteering project throughout the year is with the Denton Public Library, where we help biweekly with anything the library needs. Libraries can be an oasis of information in areas that lack other resources. TLC works to facilitate the library’s operations in an effort to expand its reach, In addition, this year, we are looking to hold a book drive to collect books for students in third world countries that don’t have access to them. Books may not seem like such a big deal, but for some students, they are everything. So, what are you waiting for? Sign up to work with us this year!

MEET THE HEADS
Hey y’all! My name is Yashvini and I will be your TAMS Library Committee Head for next year. When I'm not shelving books, I’m napping in Willis or buying overpriced coffee at Starbucks to stop napping at Willis. Outside of HOPE, I’m also the Ballot and Quizbowl president. If you have any questions about libraries, debate, or life, feel free to message me!
Hey guys! My name is Harini Repaka and this year I will be your TAMS Library Committee head. When I am not in the library, I am usually stress-eating at Fuzzy's, buying a caramel macchiato at Starbucks, or daydreaming. Other than being a committee head for HOPE I am the president for Forward Tutoring and Pen Pals committee head for FACES. Reach out to me if you wanna chat, take a walk or need advice, cause I am here for y'all!
