WHAT IS FOLD FOR HOPE?
Fold for Hope is a committee dedicated to reshaping the lives of homeless/underprivileged children and increasing welfare in developing countries. Working with two organizations, Paper for Water and Rainbow Days, our committee connects with shelters in order to build paper origami ornaments with the children and, through Paper for Water, sell these ornaments for funds that can then be used to build wells in developing countries. By providing this opportunity to homeless children, we provide them, not only with a sense of purpose but also allow them to gain new skills and make an impact on other underprivileged groups of individuals who may lack resources as well.
