WHAT IS SHILOH FIELD?

Welcome to the TAMS Shiloh Field 2022-2023 page! Shiloh Field is the largest community garden in the United States and is dedicated to providing fresh, healthy food to those who need it most in Denton County. Volunteering occurs bright and early every Saturday morning at the Shiloh Field garden. Here,  volunteers will help tend the gardens in various ways, such as weeding, mulching, harvesting, while learning more about sustainable growing methods. If you have any questions, please feel free to email us at tamsshilohfield@gmail.com or contact us through our Facebook group or on Messenger. Naturally, we HOPE to see you out there and garden beyond beleaf!

TONY ZHU

Hello!!! I’m Tony and I'll also be one of your Shiloh Field committee heads alongside Reema! I’m also on the Traditional science track and I enjoy gardening (duh), stealing Reema’s baked goods, playing volleyball, listening to music (SLAYC Girls, Saba, 88rising, Boy Pablo, and more!), watching anime, and attempting to make all you can eat restaurants lose money. In addition to shiloh field I’m also a part of JETS and inclu.d.e., so feel free to ask me anything!

RUCHI BIRUR

Hey guys! My name is Ruchi, and I’ll be one of your Shiloh Field committee heads this year! I’m on the traditional science track, and in my free time, I love to listen to music (favs are Steve Lacy, Frank Ocean, and Mac), watch sitcoms, and play tennis. I’ll also be a Naturally exec this year, so please feel free to ask me anything or just to talk! I can’t wait to meet all of y’all!
